Who am I?

I am Lorenz. I am a German animation artist & creative technologist. I have been designing, rigging and animating on Animation Projects since 2019. I love to create silly, cartoony, cute and beautiful art. I also work as a lecturer for animation at ISAD Instituto Superior De Arquitectura Y Diseño in Chihuahua, Mexico.

My Background

I am originally from Germany – but I spent most of my youth in Brazil and my early childhood in the US. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Innsbruck (AUT) and a Master’s Degree in Animation, VFX & Interactive technologies from SCI-Arc (Los Angeles, CA, USA).

My Vision

My artistic passion is to create visual comedy. My brain scans everything for inspiration to do so – whether I like it or not. Using that to make art turns that into a blessing rather than a curse. I love to embrace imperfections in my art works, consciously using them as design tools.
